DAY 1: HAVANA – SANTIAGO DE CUBA. Breakfast at hotel. Free time prior airport transfer for the flight to Santiago de Cuba. Transfer to the selected hotel in Santiago. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2: SANTIAGO DE CUBA. Breakfast at hotel. Information meeting before departing on a tour throughout the second most important city in the island. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to the Moncada Museum Complex(formerly before 1959 the biggest military barracks), learn about local traditions at Céspedes Park, visit Diego Velásquez House, the Pirates Museums and the Santa Ifigenia Cemetery. Return to the hotel. Dinner at hotel and free night.
DAY 3: SANTIAGO DE CUBA – BAYAMO. Breakfast at hotel. Depart to Bayamo, west of Santiago de Cuba. Stop by the religious sanctuary “El Cobre”. Arrive in Bayamo- a city founded by Conqueror Diego Velazquez in 1513 and cradle of the Cuban National Anthem. Lunch at a local restaurant. Arrive in hotel for accommodation and dinner.
DAY 4: BAYAMO - SANTA LUCIA. Breakfast at hotel. Depart to the beach destination Santa Lucía- located north of Camaguey province. Panoramic view of Las Tunas province. Accommodation in Santa Lucía at the selected all inclusive hotel by the beach.
DAY 5: SANTA LUCIA. Enjoy at large the Caribbean sun & beach on this excellent natural setting. All Inclusive plan.
DAY 6: SANTA LUCIA - TRINIDAD. Breakfast at hotel and departure towards the colonial city Trinidad de Cuba, with a panoramic view of Camaguey-capital city for the province and one of Cuba’s colonial jewels. Continue to the tour to Ciego de Ávila. Stop for lunch at local restaurant. Panoramic visit to the Sancti Spíritus city and arrive to the Manaca – Iznaga Valley (Sugar Mills Valley), one of Cuba’s most prosperous regions during the 17th and 18th centuries, a well preserved monumental site and land of sugar cane harvest. Arrival to Trinidad. Accommodation at a all inclusive hotels by the beach outside the city and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 7: TRINIDAD – CIENFUEGOS. Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit of Trinidad- declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit a local museum & La Canchánchara Bar. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue journey to Cienfuegos. Enjoy excellent landscapes between Trinidad & Cienfuegos. Arrival to Cienfuegos. Accommodation and dinner at the selected hotel.
DAY 8: CIENFUEGOS - SANTA CLARA - GUAMA - VARADERO - HAVANA. Breakfast at the hotel. Continuing with a panoramic tour of Cienfuegos- commonly known as the “Pearl of the South” and the only city founded by French immigrants. Continue to Santa Clara, visiting the Ernesto Che Guevara Mausoleum and the Armored Train. Continue touring Santa Clara, before heading to the Montemar Natural Park, within the Zapata Peninsula - the biggest swamp in the Caribbean & home of many endemic animal & botanic species. Boat transfer to the aboriginal village “Guama” also known as “Taina Village”, located on the Laguna del Tesoro (Treasure Lagoon) & learn about pre-Colombian aboriginal way of life. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Return to mainland and continue to Havana via Varadero (for customers with extensions in Varadero). Arrival to Havana and end of the tour.
